Over the next few weeks as we enter the festive (and feastive) season, our mobile phones are likely to get a real workout. Whether you are going away during this period or not here are a few tips to get organised so that you can stay connected with your friends and family:
- Always remember to bring your charger with you were ever you go, this will ensure that you don’t have to go begging for a recharge or go without because your friends/family are using a mobile brand that is not compatible with yours.
- Always bring your account login details with you should you need to login to your account and recharge. Not all prepaid mobile providers require you to do this but some do, so be prepared.
- Make sure you have some money in your account, on your credit card or in your paypal account so that you can pay for any recharges.
- If you are like me and most people out there and text the world come NYE, then make sure that your recharge voucher has a great value text rate, so that you don’t pay too much for all those txts to friends and family
- Recharge now (or atleast in a few days time) to ensure that you have plenty of credit come Xmas eve and Xmas day and want to call your friends and family.
- If you are planning on going away and want to access the internet whilst you are away, you have a few options available to you. Firstly if your phone can browse the web, make sure your recharge has some data included. If it doesn’t and you or a friend is planning on bring an e-PC or a laptop, don’t forget to bring along your prepaid mobile broadband modem and make sure its recharged so that you can browse when you need to.
- If you have grand parents, make sure you remind them to recharge their phones so that you can easily contact them and tell them you love them.
- Merry Xmas and stay recharged this holiday season.
