Don’t you just love it when a new offer comes out by one Telco provider and within a few months they all starting reviewing their plans to ensure they are competitive. The launch of the Woolworths offer has really awaken this market. Now all we are waiting for is Vodafone to launch its cut price plan. Doesn’t look like Telstra is interested.
Optus has done their bit. Not only are they behind the Woolworths plan, they have now launched Talk & Txt for less, their new cut price plan. And it is really cut price. Check this out: 10c call rate for 30 sec, 10c flagfall and 10c text, with a 30 day expiry. Plus you also get bonus SMS with each online recharge.
This is really great value in terms of call rates. If only the expiry was 45 or 60 days, then you would really have a category winner. Never the less, the rates are good even if they only last for 30 days. I mean if you do a lot of calling and texting then this is the perfect fit for you.
