Free Sim Cards

by on September 20, 2009

Is here such thing as a free sim card in Australia? Traditionally there hasn’t been. In researching and reporting on prepaid mobile plans in Australia for the past 12 months, I can say that Optus has been the only company to offer a free sim card directly via its retail or online network. The Optus free sim offer run till 30 September 2009. It is free but you need to collect your sim from the PO. Once you receive it, you can then decide which recharge offer you wish to go with. They offer bonus 500 free TXTs when you signup with $30 or more with the Optus Turbo Cap. This has to be done prior to 14 October 09.

The Optus Free Sim offer is great, but they aren’t the only Telcos to be offering cheap sim cards. If you want to learn more about how much it costs to purchase a prepaid mobile starter pack with each of the prepaid mobile providers in Australia, then visit our site freesim.com.au. Its free and gives you a quick snapshot of what it costs and what you get with your prepaid mobile starter pack.

To give you an idea, Just Mobile Starter Pack is $5, 3 Mobile Prepaid is $2.95, Virgin Mobile is $10.
